Kevin DeVore fought for his client and got federal charges dismissed. Kevin’s client sat in jail for 199 days and still did not get his trial. So, Kevin filed a motion to dismiss the case based on a violation of his client’s Speedy Trial rights. After a fight from the government opposing the motion, a federal judge granted Kevin’s motion and dismissed all charges against Kevin’s client. This is an extremely rare occurrence to get a federal indictment dismissed by a judge. The case caught the attention of news media all around the country.
